"Farron Elizabeth" is the brainchild of Farron Elizabeth Walker. Her love for art and clothing began at a very early age, and was reinforced in the eighth grade when she was awarded a certificate for "An Eye for Fashion". Her father, a self-made entrepreneur, instilled in her a desire to run her own business. So at eighteen she set out from her home in Northern California and moved to Los Angeles to begin her career. She enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in the fall of 1999, and graduated in 2001.

She immediately began working in the industry as an assistant designer for a t-shirt company by the name of Beau and Eros, where she wore as many hats as she could find on the rack: design, shipping, production, etc. At the time she sewed her own skirts in her apartment. Her friends as well as strangers on the street would ask her to make personal designs for them. She also began selling them through a retail store, Slave, in Venice. After two years of work and a supplement of business studies, she felt she had gained enough knowledge to strike out on her own.

Farron lived in Venice. She loved it! So it is no surprise that the lifestyles, which are so broad in the Southern California art community, have influenced her designs. Asian minimalism for elegance, simple natural objects for their beauty, and knits for their drape and softness, have become trademarks of Farron Elizabeth Designs. Screen prints of bamboo, vintage wooded beads and shells, subtly call up images of a simple life that is so prevalent in her now Venice roots.

Farron has taken great care in designing collections for all ages and all body types. Comfort is an overriding element in her choice of fabrications and fit. They can be dressed up or down, paired with heels or flip-flops. Wear them to work, at the beach, or a trendy party.

Casual, yet elegant, natural yet stylish, Farron Elizabeth is clothing for today's eclectic lifestyles.

All Farron Elizabeth designs are manufactured domestically.
